Photographer's Forum Magazine would like to thank you for entering the 29th Annual Spring Photography Contest, co-sponsored by Canon. Over 3,500 amateur photographers participated from the United States, Canada, and around the world.

Our photo editor, Neil Campbell, has selected the top entries to be in the finalist group. From those, our judges will choose the First through Fourth Place Winners plus 100 Honorable Mentions.

We are pleased to inform you that your entry is in the finalist selection group. Winners and Honorable Mentions will be notified by mail by August 17, 2009.

The editors of Photographer's Forum Magazine are now publishing all the contest finalists in the hardcover book, Best of Photography 2009. Because you are a finalist, your work will appear in this year's book.

Best of Photography 2009 is a hardbound publication. Your work will be presented in a professional manner with faithful reproduction. As always, we will be publishing advertising by leading photographic manufacturers. The book is sold to photographers, college libraries, and instructors of photography, art and graphic design. Because the book is a limited edition, we will not be going back to press to meet additional orders. Copies will be mailed in late December 2009.
