Terms & Conditions for Gallery Competition

The prizes will be awarded to the entrants whose art is rated the highest by

visitors to the www.winsornewton.com/acrylics website Gallery, within the

specified time frame of the competition

For each competition, there will be a 1st prize of £250 worth of art materials (or

equivalent in US dollars or Euro, based on the exchange rate at the time of the

competition closure). Prizes are to be selected from a ColArt price list supplied

by Winsor & Newton, valid in 2009. Prize values are the recommended retail

value as provided by Winsor & Newton and are correct at time of printing. There

will be 3 runners up prizes of one 6 x 60ml Tube Set of Winsor & Newton Artists’

Acrylic.

For the first competition, entries must be uploaded by 30th June 2009, BST 17:00

when the competition will close

All entries must be uploaded before the deadline

The winning pictures and their painters’ names will be made available during July

2009 on the Winsor & Newton Artists’ Acrylic website at

www.winsornewton.com/acrylics

"1st International Animal Art Contest"

May 1 to May 31, 2009. This show is online exhibition for all international artists by internet voting. Our entries are linked in the 'Current Entries' page until to voting time. Voting would be available during the month of May 2009. The judging is via the internet and decided by the online public vote.

 

Jurors 

The winners will be chosen by the vote from all other artists, gallery directors, visiting people of our gallery and Guests Gallery artists committee. Not personal judging. 

Awards

Cash awards are offered to the winners,  with the entries featured on the Guests Gallery. All top 10 of show most-voted-for artists' entry works will be permanently linked on our gallery. After counting the votes we will make an announcement on the gallery web site around June 15th, 2009.  

Best in Show : $ 300 & certificate

Award of Merit : $ 100 & certificate
